Sometimes it gets overwhelming. There’s planning to do, character sheets to make, subplot to map out… And this scene is just not working the way you thought it would!
Just take a step back, and write something. Anything. A stream of consciousness from this character you can’t really figure out. Perhaps you will find, naturally, what drives them.
Put two characters in a funny situation; who knows, this scene might just turn out right.
My point is: write. Sit at your desk, table, coffee shop bar, put pen to paper, fingers to keyboard, and write.
